AI chat shortcuts
Slash commands, @ mentions, Ask / Plan / Agent modes, and stopping a reply — quick ways to steer the assistant.
The chat hub and slide-in panel share the same composer shortcuts: clear the thread, switch Ask / Plan / Agent, attach context with @, copy or regenerate a reply, or stop a long answer mid-stream.
Slash commands
Type the command as the entire line (then Enter). It is handled in the app and is not sent to the model.
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/help or /? | Shows a reminder of shortcuts (toast). |
/clear, /reset, or /new | Starts a fresh chat (hub navigates to New chat; slide panel clears the thread). |
/ask, /plan, or /agent | Sets Ask, Plan, or Agent mode for the next message (same as the mode picker). |
Anything else that starts with / is sent to the assistant as a normal message.
Modes
| Mode | What it does |
|---|---|
| Ask | Answers from conversation context. No workspace tools. |
| Plan | Read-only tools only — inspect, then outline a plan. No creates. |
| Agent | Read tools plus create proposals with approval cards (default). |
@ mentions
- Type
@in the prompt to open the entity picker (segments, journeys, funnels, popups, templates, forms). - References appear as chips above the input; remove a chip before sending if you no longer want that context.
Message actions
- Copy any completed assistant or user message.
- Retry regenerates the last assistant reply without duplicating your prompt.
- Edit puts your user message back in the composer and continues from that point.
Stop streaming
While a reply is generating, the submit control becomes stop (square icon). Click it to cancel the stream. Your tab and server history stay intact; you simply stop that turn.
