Workspace team

Add teammates, give each one a role, and control what they can see and change in your workspace.

Give colleagues access to the same workspace without sharing your personal login. Each teammate gets a role, and the role decides which sections they see and what they're allowed to change. Owners and admins manage the team from Workspace settings.

What you can do

  • Add someone by mobile number if they already have a Leadara login, or create a login with a temporary password. Email is optional
  • Give each teammate one of six roles: Owner, Admin, Manager, Editor, Support, or Viewer
  • See your own role and a full table of what every role can do
  • Change a teammate's role or remove their access without deleting their account

Where to find it

  1. Open any workspace in the dashboard
  2. Go to Workspace settings
  3. The Team card is at the top, with What each role can do right below it

Only owners and admins see Add teammate and the edit and remove actions.

Roles at a glance

RoleTypical use
OwnerFull control, including billing, the team, and owner access
AdminEverything except owner access: settings, data sources, developers, team, and billing
ManagerDay-to-day marketing: launch journeys, send messages, manage and export contacts. Can see billing but not change it
EditorCreate and edit segments, templates, popups, forms, and journey drafts. Can't launch journeys or send messages
SupportReply in live chat and update contact details. No analytics or marketing tools
ViewerRead-only access to reports, contacts, and content

How roles work

  • The menu follows the role. Teammates only see the sections their role includes. If someone opens a page outside their role, they get a short note explaining it and a way back home.
  • Read-only where it makes sense. For example, a Manager can open workspace settings but can't change them.
  • Launching is separate from editing. Editors can build and save journey drafts, but only Managers, Admins, and Owners can launch, pause, or stop a journey, or delete one that has already run.
  • The AI assistant respects roles. It only offers the changes your role allows.
  • Owners are protected. Only an owner can give, change, or remove owner access, and every workspace keeps at least one owner. Nobody can change their own role.

Tips

  • To hand over a workspace, make the new person an Owner first, then have them change your role
  • Share temporary passwords privately, the same way you'd share any new account invite
  • Removing someone from the team doesn't delete their Leadara account; they just lose access to this workspace
  • The same person can be on several workspaces with a different role in each
