SMS & email providers

Connect your own SMS and email accounts so journeys and campaigns send from your number and your sender name.

Leadara sends SMS and email through providers you connect — your own accounts with services like Nikaline, Kavenegar, and MailerSend. You add your credentials once, send a quick test, and then pick that provider on any SMS or email step in a journey. Messages go out from your sender line and are billed to your provider balance.

There's also a built-in Sandbox provider for trying journeys end to end without sending a single real message.

What you can do

  • Connect an SMS provider — Nikaline or Kavenegar — with your sender number and API key.
  • Connect an email provider — MailerSend — with your API token and a verified from address.
  • Send a test message to your own phone or inbox to confirm the connection before you go live.
  • Pick a provider per step — every SMS and email action in a journey lets you choose which connected provider sends it.
  • Use the Sandbox to rehearse a journey without sending real messages or spending credit.

How it works

Open Providers in your workspace settings. Each provider is a card showing whether it's Connected or Not configured. Click one to enter your credentials and save them — they're stored securely against your workspace, and the API key field is always masked.

Once a provider is connected:

  • It appears in the provider picker on SMS or email steps.
  • The Test connection panel sends a single real message so you can verify everything works.
  • Delivery results show up in your SMS log with the provider that sent each message.

Each provider bills your account, so top-ups, sender-line approvals, and delivery rules are handled on the provider's side.

Tips

  • Test before you launch. A connected badge only means credentials are saved — the test send proves the key, sender line, and balance are all valid.
  • Iranian mobile numbers are accepted in the usual formats (09…, +98…); Leadara normalizes them for you.
  • Keep a sender line approved with your provider. If sends fail, check your balance and that the sender number is assigned to your account.
  • Rehearse with Sandbox when building a new journey, then switch the step to your real provider when you're confident.
